  Accommodation

There is an excellent range of  accommodation adjacent to the Anglican Shrine for groups or individuals wishing to enjoy a pilgrimage experience.

Accommodation is available from 1st February each year until early December. Staying at the Anglican Shrine offers a unique experience as each accommodation building nestles within the shadow of the Shrine Church.

THE SHRINE RESIDENTIAL
FACILITIES ARE CLOSED FROM

Tuesday 5th December, 2011 until Tuesday 31st January, 2012

The main season runs from Easter to the end of October, but coming out of season means that pilgrims can enjoy an organised retreat or groups can design and run their own conference. The Shrine's accommodation is closed each year in December and January.

Introducing the Team

Within the Hospitality Department, Keith Tuck, Jeremy Gash and Lisa Sayce endeavour to ensure that everything is done to provide the best possible pilgrim care, from the very first tentative enquiry through to the pilgrimage itself. Their work involves taking bookings, dealing with deposits, allocating rooms according to the needs of the pilgrimage group and assisting on the day of arrival.

The accommodation facilities are continually improved, cleaned and cared for by a team of hardworking housekeeping staff (under the direction of Lisa) who take great pride in their work.

Keith (right) and Jeremy (left), our Pilgrim Hostellers, together with Lisa (below left) play key roles in the work of the Shrine.
They are available to help you plan your pilgrimage or retreat and to book the facilities that most meet your needs. See How to Book for more details.

Pat Marshall is the Catering Manager and, together with her assistant, Ian McFarlane and all the catering staff, she offers competitively priced meals, in the Pilgrim Refectory.
