The Abbey grounds (20 acres of tranquil and picturesque gardens, woodland and river walks) and the Shirehall Museum are open daily 1000 – 1630 from the beginning of April to the end of October.

The Wells-Walsingham Light Railway is the longest 10 ¼" narrow gauge railway in the world. It runs to a timetable from Wells-next-the-Sea to Walsingham throughout the summer (Weekends beginning on Good Friday).
