The Life Profession of Sister Carol Elizabeth SSM

On Tuesday, 6th March at 12 noon in the Shrine Church, supported by a large congregation – including representatives from several religious communities – Sister Carol Elizabeth made her Life Profession vows as a sister of the Society of S. Margaret. Her profession was made in front of the Priory of Our Lady’s Visitor, Bishop Peter Wheatley. It was a joyous occasion – Mass celebrated by Bishop Peter, a witty, but thought-provoking homily from Fr Adrian Ling (the sisters’ chaplain) and excellent hymns, psalms and anthems chosen by Sister Carol herself. At the end of the service, Sister Carol – wearing the traditional coronel of flowers – processed out with the clergy and greeted her friends and relations as they left the Shrine Church.

A buffet lunch was served in the Shrine Refectory after the service.
