We are pleased to announce that the new live-streaming and camera equipment is to be installed in the Shrine Church the week beginning Monday 22nd March 2021. We would like to thank all those who have generously donated towards the cost of our new equipment and the installation will enable the Shrine to improve it’s live-streaming provision by having different camera angles and will also greatly improve the sound quality.
The installation will take all week, and unfortunately this means that the Shrine Church will be closed to the public on Monday 22nd March. Therefore, Evening Prayer, Mass and Shrine Prayers will not be open to the public on this day. Shrine Prayers will still be live-streamed, but unfortunately it won’t be from the Holy House.
However, local people can still join us for the 10.30am Guild Mass in the Guild of All Souls Chapel and those wishing to attend will need to be at the Brandie Gate between 10.15am and 10.20am so that they can be let into the site.
The Shrine Church will re-open to the public on Tuesday 23rd March, but please be aware that there may be some disruption as the installation continues.
We are hoping that our first live-stream with the new equipment will be on Sunday 28th March- Palm Sunday. Please do bear with us, if there are any teething problems as we get used to the new system.
