Family Pilgrimage 2022

14 families, including 5 under five-year-olds, were welcomed to the Shrine for the Family Pilgrimage in October. This year the theme was Heavenly Treasure. Highlights were Father Ben and his talking parrot, creating sparkly prayer jars and the pirate themed disco. We were delighted that so many children volunteered to help during services, including our youngest ever verger, William aged 3. We considered what earthly and heavenly treasures might be, and which were more important. The experience was enhanced by the volunteer worship band and support from all the Shrine staff.
