The National Pilgrimage 2026

The 2026 National Pilgrimage was a truly wonderful occasion! Although the weather was very hot the pilgrimage was marked by reverence, devotion, and a strong sense of community. The day began with the 12 noon Solemn Mass, celebrated by the Rt Reverend Luke Irvine‑Capel, Bishop of Richborough. In the afternoon, pilgrims gathered for the 2.30 pm Sermon, Procession, and Benediction, with an inspiring address from The Most Reverend John Wilson, Archbishop of Southwark. The pilgrimage drew to a fitting close with Solemn Vespers at 6 pm in the Shrine Church.
