Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage 2026

The Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage 2026 took place between the 3rd and the 7th of August. The theme was Gaudete: Leaping for Joy! Through interactive Bible studies and worshipful liturgies, we explored how to find joy, how to hold on to joy in the difficult times, what joy is for and how to share this joy in our everyday lives. Pilgrimage experiences such as processing with Our Lady to the Shrine from the Abbey Grounds, Sprinkling with water from the well and other healing ministries were offered. Worship was interspersed with a joyful barbecue and film night, fun activities such as inflatables and a climbing wall along with crafts, plus a disco. There was also time to socialise in our camps and in the Hub.

Many thanks to all who attended and all who worked tirelessly to make the event such a success.
