Celebrate our centenary with two beautiful gifts

To coincide with our jubilee year, commemorating the restoration of the Shrine, we are launching two celebratory products – a stunning enamel pilgrim badge, influenced by medieval examples, designed by Lee Harvey and manufactured in England by Thomas Fattorini Ltd, and a beautiful full-colour illustrated hardback: A Pilgrim Garden: Reflections from The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Every evening since 6 July 1922 the Rosary has been recited by pilgrims to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. On that day the people of Walsingham, led by Fr Alfred Hope Patten, the parish priest, carried into their parish church a replica of an ancient carved image of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding her Divine Son.

A Pilgrim Garden celebrates this unbroken chain of prayer through a series of meditations, written by members of the Shrine’s College of Guardians, on the twenty Mysteries of the Rosary. The meditations are accompanied by photographs of the beautiful Shrine Gardens, which will take readers on a journey around the gardens as they reflect and pray.

Both items are available exclusively from the Shrine Shop now.
