Partnership of the Shrine builds on Society membership, receiving two Walsingham Review’s per year.  In addition, Partners receive a Partnership Membership Card, and their name entered into the Partnership Book.  In February each year they are invited to a Partnership Pilgrimage Weekend and Dinner.  At this weekend they hear about the new developments going on at the Shrine and attend talks given by outside speakers on topics related to the Shrine.

The 2024 Partnership weekend took place from Friday 16th – Sunday 18th February.

On the Friday Evening after supper the Partners enjoyed a talk from Fr. Leslie Pinfield who is a retired priest living in and enjoying Walsingham and he spoke about his ministry spanning over 30 years as Priest. On Saturday there were a variety of updates about the Shrine from the Priest Administrator, Shrine Priest, Director of Education and the Director of Operations. The Partners also presented Fr Kevin with a card and gifts as he leaves the Shrine to become Vicar of St Augustine’s, Belvedere at the end of May.

In the afternoon there were optional tours of Wighton, Holkham and Warham churches and in the evening the Partners enjoyed a special gala dinner with a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ theme. The music was provided by the fantastic Fakenham Town Band.
