Educational Visit Programmes
"The Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham provides curriculum-based education programmes aimed at enhancing pupils' classroom studies of moral, spiritual and cultural issues and encouraging them to open their minds to all aspects of the world around them."
Susanna Smart, Lead Judge, The Sandford Awards for Heritage Education
We offer a number of educational programmes to suit various age groups; most of these last a whole day (usually 10.00am to 2.30pm), however, timings can be adapted to suit your requirements. Whatever else may be provided, our programmes always include the theme of pilgrimage and a visit to the Shrine Church.
Residential visits offer far greater scope for planning an unhurried programme and we can tailor-make a package to suit the needs of your students. Please ask about additional sessions which can be included in your package.
All of the programmes can be adapted for small groups of special needs students.
The department is staffed by our dedicated team of experienced and qualified teachers.
There is no charge for Pupil Premium pupils visiting for the day!
